ARMStaffing is looking for a Registered Nurse, Operating Room (Day Shift) in Kinston, North Carolina.

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule/Shift

Five, 8-hour day shifts per week. Arrival at 6:45 a.m. for huddle. Rotating weeknight and weekend call.

Job Description

The OR Nurse provides pre-, intra-, and post-operative patient care as part of the surgical team. Experience with services such as General Surgery, Orthopedics, Urology, GYN, C-sections, Ophthalmology, Vascular, Dental, and ENT is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality nursing care in the Operating Room.
• Assist in various surgical procedures and ensure patient safety.
• Collaborate with surgical teams to manage patient care throughout the surgical process.
• Document accurately in the EPIC system.

Required Experience

• Minimum of 5 years of OR experience.
• Active RN license in North Carolina or compact state.
• Experience with the EPIC documentation system is required.

Certifications/Licensure

• ACLS and BLS certifications are required.
• PALS certification is preferred.
• CNOR certification is a plus.
