This position requires a night shift from 6:45 PM to 7:15 AM, with guaranteed hours of 36 per week.
Job Description
As a Registered Nurse in Orthopedic Surgery, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced surgical environment. You will work closely with the orthopedic surgical team to assist in procedures, monitor patient recovery, and educate patients about post-operative care.
Responsibilities
- Assist in orthopedic surgeries and procedures.
- Monitor and assess patient conditions before, during, and after surgery.
- Provide post-operative care and education to patients and their families.
- Administer medications and manage pain relief strategies as directed.
- Ensure compliance with safety and infection control protocols.
Required Experience
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in North Carolina.
- Experience in orthopedic surgical nursing or related clinical area.
Certifications/Licensure
- BLS certification required.
- ACLS certification preferred.
