ARMStaffing is looking for a Registered Nurse, First Assist (Day Shift) in Petoskey, Michigan.

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule/Shift

Monday through Thursday, 11a-9p shift. On-call requirement is one night a week from 9p-7a and one weekend a month from 7p-7a Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. Holidays are also required.

Job Description

The Registered Nurse, First Assist will work within McLaren's surgical services, providing care across various specialties. As the first assist, you will engage in both elective and critical surgeries, utilizing state-of-the-art techniques to enhance patient outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Assist in surgical procedures across various specialties including Ortho, General, Endo-Vascular, Uro, and OB.
• Ensure adherence to safety protocols and maintain a sterile environment.
• Collaborate with surgeons and surgical teams to optimize patient care.

Required Experience

• 2+ years of experience as a Certified Surgical First Assistant (CSFA).
• License verification from Michigan LARA and Nursys.

Certifications/Licensure

• CSFA certification required, with NBSTSA and NCCT accepted interchangeably.
• BLS certification (AHA) required.
