Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Sterile Processing Technician to join our team. This role involves ensuring that all surgical instruments and tools are properly sterilized and maintained for use in medical procedures. The technician will work closely with surgical teams to maintain a clean and efficient operating environment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, decontaminate, sterilize, and store surgical instruments and equipment.
• Maintain accurate records of sterilization processes and ensure compliance with safety standards.
• Inspect and test sterilization equipment to ensure proper functioning.
• Collaborate with surgical staff to ensure timely availability of instruments for surgical procedures.
• Adhere to protocols for infection control and safety standards.

Required Experience

Current certification as a Sterile Processing Technician is required. Prior experience in a surgical or hospital setting is preferred.

Certifications/Licensure

Current Sterile Processing Certification is required.
