6:30 PM to 7:00 AM, 12-hour shifts.

Job Description

The Registered Nurse will be responsible for providing excellent patient care in a Medical-Surgical unit. This role includes caring for patients after surgical procedures and managing various medical conditions. The nurse will work with patients experiencing abdominal pain, cholelithiasis, osteoarthritis, fractures, back pain, and morbid obesity.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications and monitor patient vitals.
• Provide post-surgical care and support to patients.
• Utilize specialty equipment such as IV pumps, N/G tubes, and feeding tubes.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to enhance patient care and experiences.
• Document patient information accurately in the EMR system, specifically EPIC.

Required Experience

• Minimum of 2 years experience in Medical-Surgical nursing.
• Proven travel experience in nursing roles.

Certifications/Licensure

• Current AHA BLS certification.
• Active RN license with NURSYS verification available.
• All active RN licenses must be verifiable.
