Schedule/Shift

7:00 AM - 7:00 PM, minimum of three 12-hour shifts per week with rotating weekends.

Job Description

The Registered Respiratory Therapist (RT) at Capital Regional Medical Center will work in a fully-accredited, 266-bed acute-care hospital that provides a range of services including Critical Care, Emergency Services, and various specialized centers. The RT will be essential in delivering quality respiratory care and participating in interdisciplinary team rounds, working closely with nursing and other healthcare professionals.

Responsibilities

• Administer aerosol treatments, manage Bipap and ventilators, and assist in bedside procedures such as intubation and arterial line insertion.
• Utilize advanced equipment including Puritan Bennett 980 ventilators, Vapotherm, and Philips V60+.
• Document patient care using the Meditech documentation system.
• Participate in multidisciplinary rounds to enhance patient care.

Required Experience

• Experience in Critical Care and Emergency Care settings is essential.

Certifications/Licensure

• Current ACLS, BLS, PALS, and NRP certifications are required.
