Night Shift: 6:30 PM - 7:00 AM

Job Description

The Registered Respiratory Therapist will provide specialized care for neonates within a Level 3 Neonatal Intensive Care Unit, attending high-risk deliveries, and performing advanced interventions. The therapist will be responsible for ventilator management, blood gas interpretation, and the administration of Nitric Oxide and surfactant. This role requires a collaborative approach to patient care and effective communication with multidisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Attend high-risk deliveries and provide respiratory support.
• Manage ventilators, including high-frequency oscillatory ventilation.
• Administer surfactant and Nitric Oxide as needed.
• Perform blood gas acquisition and interpret results.

Required Experience

• Level 3 NICU experience preferred; will consider candidates with 3-5 years of Level 2 NICU experience.

Certifications/Licensure

• NRP certification required.
• STABLE certification preferred.
