ARMStaffing is looking for a Registered Respiratory Therapist, Critical Care & Emergency Care (Night Shift) in Tallahassee, Florida.

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule/Shift

Schedule consists of a minimum of three 12-hour shifts per week with rotating weekends. Night shift hours are from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM.

Job Description

The Registered Respiratory Therapist will provide care and support for patients in the Critical Care and Emergency Care settings. The therapist will work with various equipment including ventilators and BiPAPs, and will engage in procedures such as aerosol treatments, ventilator management, and Bipap management within the unit.

Responsibilities

• Manage ventilator and BiPAP therapy for patients.
• Conduct aerosol treatments and assist with bedside procedures.
• Collaborate with nursing and interdisciplinary teams in daily rounds.
• Participate in intubation and arterial line insertion as needed.
• Utilize Meditech for documentation of patient care and treatment plans.

Required Experience

• Experience in ICU, ER, and critical adult care settings.
• Demonstrated competency in advanced respiratory procedures.

Certifications/Licensure

• Current ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications are required.
• NRP certification is preferred.
