Night Shift: 11:00 PM - 7:30 AM, 40 hours guaranteed.

Job Description

The Sterile Processing Technician will be responsible for caring for, handling, and storing instruments, supplies, and equipment necessary for surgery. This role also includes processing goods for redistribution throughout the Medical Center and assisting Sterile Processing Specialists with various team lead duties, including maintaining competencies.

Responsibilities

• Care for, handle, and store surgical instruments and supplies.
• Process goods for redistribution throughout the Medical Center.
• Assist Sterile Processing Specialists with team lead duties.
• Maintain and ensure team competencies.

Required Experience

• 2+ years of recent experience as a Sterile Processing Technician (SPT) - required.
• Previous travel experience - required.

Certifications/Licensure

• Active HSPA certification for at least 2 years - required.
• Active American Heart Association BLS - required.
• Flu vaccination required - declinations not approved - required.
• COVID-19 vaccination required (declinations not accepted, must be state-recorded) - required.
