Evening shift from 3:00 PM to 11:30 PM, 40 hours guaranteed.

Job Description

The Sterile Processing Technician will be responsible for caring, handling, and storing instruments, supplies, and equipment necessary for surgery, as well as processing goods for redistribution throughout the medical center. This role involves assisting Sterile Processing Specialists with various team lead duties, including maintaining competencies within the team.

Responsibilities

• Care for, handle, and store surgical instruments and supplies.
• Process goods for redistribution within the medical center.
• Assist Sterile Processing Specialists with team lead duties.
• Maintain competencies and ensure compliance with sterilization protocols.

Required Experience

• 2+ years of recent Sterile Processing Technician experience.
• Active HSPA certification for at least 2 years.
• Previous travel experience.
• Flu vaccination is required, declinations not approved.
• COVID vaccination is required, declinations not accepted and must be state-recorded.

Certifications/Licensure

• Active HSPA certification.
• Active American Heart Association BLS certification.
