ARMStaffing is looking for a Registered Nurse, Medical-Surgical/Telemetry (Day Shift) in Easley, South Carolina.

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule/Shift

3x12 hour shifts, from 0700 to 1930. Floating to other units or facilities is required as needed. Weekend coverage is every other weekend but may vary based on unit needs.

Job Description

The Registered Nurse will provide high-quality care to patients in a Medical-Surgical/Telemetry unit. Responsibilities include monitoring patient status, administering medications, and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient care. The nurse will utilize the EPIC documentation system and manage medications through the Omnicell system.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in the Medical-Surgical/Telemetry unit.
• Assess and monitor patients for changes in condition and response to treatments.
• Administer medications and treatments per physician orders.
• Document patient care in the EPIC system.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Participate in patient and family education as necessary.
• Float to other units or facilities as needed.

Required Experience

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in a Medical-Surgical or Telemetry unit.
• Charge experience preferred.

Certifications/Licensure

• Current South Carolina RN license.
• Basic Life Support (BLS).
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS).
• National Institute of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification.
