ARMStaffing is looking for a Registered Nurse, Med/Surg Telemetry (Night Shift) in Orangeburg, South Carolina.

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule/Shift

3x12 Night Shifts, 6:45 PM - 7:15 AM, with every other weekend required. Floating within scope may be needed based on facility needs.

Job Description

The position involves providing care to patients in a Med/Surg Telemetry unit. The ideal candidate will have experience in telemetry and the interpretation of dysrhythmias. Daily responsibilities include monitoring patient conditions, administering medications, and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to deliver quality patient care.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and interpret telemetry readings.
• Provide direct patient care and support daily living activities.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Document patient assessments and care provided in the Epic charting system.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members for optimal patient outcomes.
• Adhere to isolation precautions and safety guidelines.

Required Experience

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in Med/Surg Telemetry nursing.
• Experience in telemetry units with the ability to interpret dysrhythmias.

Certifications/Licensure

• Valid South Carolina RN license or Compact license.
• BLS and ACLS certifications required.
• NIHSS certification preferred.
