This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule/Shift

3x12 hour shifts, Day Shift, from 6:45 AM to 7:15 PM, with every other weekend required.

Job Description

The Medical-Surgical/Telemetry RN will be responsible for providing high-quality care to adult and geriatric patients. The position involves monitoring patients' conditions and vital signs, administering medications, and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams. Experience with Community Hospital settings is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide care for patients in a Medical-Surgical/Telemetry unit.
• Monitor patient vital signs and report any changes in condition.
• Administer medications and manage patient care plans.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Demonstrate competency in telemetry and cardiac monitoring.

Required Experience

• Must have a minimum of 2 years of experience as an RN in a Medical-Surgical or Telemetry setting.
• Tele competency required.

Certifications/Licensure

• SC RN license or Compact license must be active prior to start.
• BLS and ACLS certifications required; NIHSS preferred.
