ARMStaffing is looking for a Registered Nurse, Medical-Surgical/Telemetry (Day Shift) in Orangeburg, South Carolina.

Schedule/Shift

3x12-hour shifts, Days, 6:45 AM - 7:15 PM. Weekend coverage required every other weekend.

Job Description

The Medical-Surgical/Telemetry unit at this acute care hospital focuses on patient care for adults and geriatrics, managing a variety of diagnoses including diabetes, hypertension, coronary artery disease, seizures, and stroke. With a total of 286 staffed beds, the unit utilizes Epic for charting and provides a supportive environment with interdisciplinary services, including physical therapy, respiratory services, and pharmacy.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care in a Medical-Surgical/Telemetry setting.
• Monitor patients' conditions, including telemetry readings.
• Administer medications and manage IV therapies.
• Collaborate with team members and interdisciplinary support services.
• Attend to the physical and emotional needs of patients.

Required Experience

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a Medical-Surgical/Telemetry nursing role.
• Charge experience preferred.
• Community hospital experience preferred.

Certifications/Licensure

• Active South Carolina RN license or Compact license.
• BLS and ACLS certifications are required; NIHSS preferred.
