ARMStaffing is looking for a Registered Nurse, Intensive Care Unit (Day Shift) in Topeka, Kansas.

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule/Shift

Day shift, 3x12 hours (07:00 - 19:30). Weekends are required.

Job Description

The Intensive Care Unit (ICU) requires a Registered Nurse to care for a cardiac patient population. The ideal candidate must be able to manage two ventilator patients while multitasking with multiple drip titrations. Familiarity with Epic charting system is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive care to critically ill patients in the ICU.
• Manage ventilator settings and care for ventilated patients.
• Administer and titrate multiple intravenous medications and drips.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation using Epic.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans.

Required Experience

• A minimum of 2 years of ICU nursing experience is required.
• Previous charge experience is preferred.

Certifications/Licensure

• Current BLS, ACLS, NIHSS certifications required at time of submission.
• Valid RN license in Kansas or a compact state required.
