The schedule includes evenings from 12:30 PM to 11:00 PM, four days a week, with Wednesdays off. Flexibility to work days may be required.

Job Description

As a Surgical Technologist in the Operating Room, you will be responsible for assisting surgeons during operations by preparing the operating environment and ensuring the necessary instruments and supplies are sterile and readily available.

Responsibilities

• Prepare the operating room for surgeries, including setting up instruments, equipment, and supplies.
• Assist with positioning patients and maintaining a sterile field during procedures.
• Handle surgical instruments and supplies with care and ensure proper sterilization processes are followed.
• Collaborate with the surgical team to provide high-quality patient care in the operating room.

Required Experience

• Proficient in general surgery, orthopedic fracture care, vascular, and urology.
• Prior travel experience is highly preferred.

Certifications/Licensure

• BLS certification is required.
• NBSTSA certification is required.
• New York Temporary Health Care Service Agency License/Registration Certificate must be included with the traveler profile.
