ARMStaffing is looking for a Registered Nurse, Medical-Surgical/Tele (Night Shift) in Auburn, New York.

3x12-hour shifts (Night Shift), with every other weekend and holiday required.

Job Description

The Registered Nurse will provide care in a Medical-Surgical/Tele unit, managing patients with various conditions. The nurse will independently measure telemetry strips and interpret cardiac rhythms for telemetry patients, ensuring efficacy in diagnostics and patient care. A commitment to floating per facility needs is essential.

Responsibilities

• Interpret and manage dysrhythmias.
• Provide care using Rapid Response and Code teams.
• Manage peripheral lines and administer oxygen via nasal cannula and tanks.
• Follow isolation precautions and administer non-invasive airway management.
• Conduct regular assessments and document patient care accurately.

Required Experience

Minimum of one year of recent experience in a Medical-Surgical/Tele setting is required.

Certifications/Licensure

• New York State Registered Nurse License required.
• ACLS certification required.
• BLS certification required.
• NIHSS certification required.
