Job Description

The Physical Therapist will evaluate all assigned patients and develop, implement, and modify treatment plans in accordance with each patient's needs, goals, and physician direction. This role includes overseeing discipline-specific therapy services for assigned patients, ensuring the design of functional treatment programs for a successful return to community activities. The Physical Therapist will also provide education to patients, families, students, and colleagues while maintaining compliance with the organizational mission and values.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of assigned patients.
• Develop appropriate treatment plans and goals focused on progressing patients toward discharge.
• Document patient care clearly, accurately, and in a timely manner, including goal writing and patient assessments.
• Participate in the student program by providing a positive learning environment.
• Engage in professional development and maintain licensure in good standing.
• Follow safety policies and procedures to ensure patient and employee safety.

Required Experience

• Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited school.
• 1+ year of outpatient clinical experience.
• Current CPR certification.
• Active Physical Therapist license for the state of Maine.

Certifications/Licensure

• Must maintain a valid and applicable license for the state where work is performed.
