Varied shifts available, including rotating schedules with nights from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM.

Job Description

The Physical Therapist at St. Mary's Health System will perform evaluative and therapeutic procedures under the direction of a physician or other healthcare providers. They will establish a therapeutic plan of care based on department protocols, aiming to maximize the functional abilities and independence of patients within a skilled nursing and long-term care setting.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and treat patients according to established protocols.
• Develop comprehensive therapeutic plans of care, including long and short term goals.
• Work collaboratively with patients and other healthcare providers.
• Observe precautions, indications, and contraindications in patient treatment.

Required Experience

• Bachelor's degree in physical therapy required; Master’s or Doctorate preferred.
• Licensure as a Physical Therapist in the State of Maine.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.

Certifications/Licensure

• Valid Physical Therapist license in the State of Maine.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
