Night shift, 3x12 hours (19:00 - 07:00).

Job Description

The position is for a Registered Nurse on a medical-surgical unit with telemetry capabilities, focusing on patients with vascular disease diagnoses. The unit comprises twelve private rooms and two semi-private rooms, accommodating a potential maximum census of 16 patients ranging from young adulthood to geriatrics. Nurses will provide comprehensive care to patients, including those in medical-surgical and telemetry overflow.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Monitor and document patient status and vital signs.
• Assist in diagnostic tests and procedures.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient care.
• Education and support for patients and families regarding health management.
• Provide care in accordance with established protocols and standards.

Required Experience

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a medical-surgical unit.
• Previous charge experience is preferred.
• Travel experience is required.

Certifications/Licensure

• Current Registered Nurse license (State or Compact) in hand at the time of submittal.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• NIHSS certification preferred.
