ARMStaffing is looking for a Registered Nurse, Critical Care (Night Shift) in Palestine, Texas.

Schedule/Shift

Night shift, 12-hour shifts from 19:00 to 07:00 with 36 weekly guaranteed hours.

Job Description

The Registered Nurse in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) will provide high-quality nursing care to patients with critical illnesses. The nurse will work closely with a multidisciplinary team to ensure patient safety and deliver exemplary care. Utilize advanced technology and maintain accurate patient documentation through MedHost EHR.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and manage critically ill patients, including those with respiratory failure, DKA, COPD exacerbation, CHF, and those post-operative care.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Collaborate with physicians and healthcare team members to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation of patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes.
• Educate patients and families on health management and discharge planning.

Required Experience

More than 1 year of experience in Critical Care nursing is required.

Certifications/Licensure

American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications are required.
