ARMStaffing is looking for a Registered Nurse, Medical-Surgical/Telemetry (Day Shift) in Charleston, West Virginia.

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule/Shift

Effective schedule is 3x12 hours from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM, weekdays, with every other weekend required.

Job Description

The Registered Nurse will provide care for patients with medical conditions such as cardiac, vascular, surgical, pulmonary issues as well as telemetry patients in a 32-bed unit. The position may require floating within scope as needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient-centered nursing care in a fast-paced environment.
• Monitor and assess patient conditions, collaborate on care plans, and implement interventions.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Document patient care and progress accurately in the electronic health record.
• Communicate effectively with patients and their families regarding health issues and care plans.

Required Experience

• Minimum of 2 years of RN experience.
• At least 1 year of experience in a Medical-Surgical or Telemetry specialty.
• Previous charge experience preferred.

Certifications/Licensure

• Current BLS/BCLS certification.
• ACLS certification is required.
• Active WV or Compact RN license required (pending applications accepted).
