ARMStaffing is looking for a Registered Nurse, Medical Surgical/Telemetry (Night Shift) in Charleston, West Virginia.

Schedule/Shift

3x12 or 4x12 Night shift, 7 PM to 7 AM; every other weekend required.

Job Description

The Medical Surgical/Telemetry unit caters to adult and geriatric patient populations dealing with acute and chronic cardiac issues, including Acute MI, unstable angina, CHF, and unstable arrhythmias. Responsibilities include managing a typical patient ratio of 1:5, float duties as needed, and caring for patients post-cardiac procedures. The documentation system used is Cerner.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and manage patients with various cardiac conditions.
• Perform procedures including but not limited to cardioversion, thoracentesis, chest tube insertion, and central line insertion.
• Utilize required drips such as heparin, cardizem, and amiodarone.
• Document care accurately and timely using Cerner.

Required Experience

• Minimum of 2 years Registered Nurse experience.
• At least 1 year of experience in a relevant specialty (Medical Surgical/Telemetry).

Certifications/Licensure

• Current WV RN License or Compact RN License (pending license accepted).
• BLS/BCLS certification required; ACLS preferred.
