ARMStaffing is looking for a Registered Nurse, Labor and Delivery (Night Shift) in Asheville, North Carolina.

Night Shift: 6:45 PM - 7:15 AM, guaranteed hours: 36.

Job Description

Join a leading healthcare team at a premier facility, where you will provide high-quality nursing care in the Labor and Delivery unit. Your role will focus on delivering comprehensive nursing care to mothers and newborns, ensuring a safe and supportive environment during childbirth.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in Labor and Delivery, including assessment and monitoring of maternal and fetal health.
• Assist with vaginal deliveries, cesarean sections, and other related procedures.
• Administer medications and perform timely interventions as necessary.
• Collaborate with obstetricians, pediatricians, and other healthcare professionals.
• Support new parents with education and support for newborn care.
• Document patient care and maintain accurate electronic health records using Cerner and Fetal ink.

Required Experience

• Minimum of 2 years of Labor and Delivery experience.
• Experience with high-risk pregnancies and immediate newborn care.

Certifications/Licensure

• NRP certification required.
• BLS/ALS required.
• Advanced Fetal Monitoring certification preferred.
