Job Description
The role involves providing patient care in the Women's Care Center, which focuses on obstetrics and gynecological services. You will be responsible for triaging pregnancy and preterm labor cases, assisting in labor care, managing recovery from cesarean sections, and providing postpartum care. The unit consists of 11 beds and supports a diverse patient population across various age groups.
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive care to expectant mothers and newborns.
- Monitor maternal and fetal vital signs during labor and delivery.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Document patient care and progress in the electronic health record system (EHR).
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Required Experience
Candidates must possess an active Registered Nurse (RN) license and preferably have experience in labor and delivery nursing. Experience with ACLS, NRP, BLS, PALS, and intermediate fetal monitoring is required.
Certifications/Licensure

- NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program)
- BLS (Basic Life Support)
- PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)
