Night shift, 3 - 12 hour shifts, 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM.

Job Description

The Registered Nurse in Med/Surg Telemetry will provide high-quality patient care in a telemetry unit. The nurse will work with a diverse patient population and will be responsible for monitoring vital signs, assessing patient conditions, and collaborating with the interdisciplinary team to ensure the best outcomes for patients.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and assess patient conditions, including vital signs and telemetry data.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Document patient care in the electronic health record system.
• Provide patient education and support to patients and their families.

Required Experience

• Minimum of 12 months of permanent Med/Surg Telemetry experience.

Certifications/Licensure

• Active Ohio RN license or Compact State License required.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications are required.
