Day shift, 3 - 12 hour shifts, from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM.

Job Description

Join our team as a Registered Nurse in the Medical-Surgical/Tele unit, providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment. You will engage in direct patient assessment, planning, care, and evaluation, closely collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to enhance patient outcomes and promote well-being.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized care plans.
• Administer medications and treatments in accordance with physician orders and facility protocols.
• Monitor patient status and modify care plans as necessary based on patient needs.
• Educate patients and families about care plans, medications, and follow-up instructions.
• Document all patient care activities and maintain accurate medical records.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to optimize patient care outcomes.

Required Experience

• Minimum of 12 months of permanent experience in Medical-Surgical/Tele nursing.
• Experience working in a similar hospital setting.
• Charge nurse experience is preferred.

Certifications/Licensure

• Must hold an active Ohio RN license or compact state license.
• Current BLS and ACLS certification required.
• Must be willing to obtain NIHSS certification prior to start.
