Night shift, 3 - 12 hour shifts, 7 PM - 7:30 AM.

Job Description

The Registered Nurse will provide high-quality patient care in the Medical-Surgical/Telemetry unit. The nurse will be responsible for monitoring patient conditions, administering medications, and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and assess patients' conditions.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Document all patient interactions in the electronic health record (Epic).
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to enhance patient care.
• Provide patient education and support to families.

Required Experience

• Minimum of 12 months of permanent experience in the specialty applying for.
• Experience in a Medical-Surgical and Telemetry unit preferred.

Certifications/Licensure

• Must have a permanent Ohio RN license or compact state in hand.
• American Red Cross BLS and ACLS required.
• NIH Stroke Scale certification must be obtained prior to start.
