Night shift, 4 - 12 hour shifts, from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM.

Job Description

The Registered Nurse in Medical-Surgical Telemetry will provide high-quality nursing care to patients with a variety of medical conditions in a telemetry setting. This role involves monitoring and interpreting cardiac and vital sign data, administering medications, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Monitor patients’ vital signs and cardiac rhythms.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Conduct patient assessments and develop care plans.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to discuss patient status and care needs.
• Document care provided in the appropriate electronic systems.
• Educate patients and families regarding health management and wellness.

Required Experience

• A minimum of 12 months of permanent Med/Surg Telemetry experience is required.
• Previous charge experience is preferred.

Certifications/Licensure

• Valid Ohio nursing license or a compact state license in hand is required.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications are mandatory.
