Day shift, 3x12-hour shifts (07:00 - 19:00) with a requirement of 6 weekend shifts.
Job Description
The Registered Nurse (RN) in Labor and Delivery will provide comprehensive care for patients during labor, delivery, and postpartum. This position requires at least 2 years of L&D experience and familiarity with the EPIC charting system, as well as the ability to assist with high-risk deliveries and provide neonatal resuscitation.
Responsibilities
- Provide one-on-one patient care during labor and delivery.
- Assist with vaginal and cesarean deliveries.
- Administer medications and manage IV therapy as needed.
- Monitor fetal heart rates and maternal vital signs throughout labor.
- Perform postpartum assessments and provide education to new mothers.
Required Experience
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in Labor and Delivery.
- Experience with EPIC charting system is required.
Certifications/Licensure
- Active and valid RN license.
- ACLS, AWHONN Intermediate, BLS, and NRP certifications are required.
