Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse (RN) with expertise in Labor and Delivery to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional care to patients during labor and delivery while ensuring their comfort and safety. The RN will work collaboratively with a dedicated team of healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality patient care.
Responsibilities
- Manage labor and delivery processes for patients.
- Monitor fetal heart rates and maternal vital signs using GE EFM equipment.
- Administer medications including magnesium and Pitocin drips, as needed.
- Circulate in the Labor and Delivery Operating Room as required.
- Provide care and support in antepartum and postpartum units.
- Advocate for patient needs and comfort throughout labor and delivery.
Required Experience
- Experience in Labor and Delivery nursing is essential.
Certifications / Licensure
- Current RN license.
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification.
- NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification.
