Job Description
The Registered Nurse in the ICU will care for a diverse patient population, focusing on critical medical conditions including sepsis, respiratory issues, and cardiovascular concerns. This 14-bed Medical ICU supports a team-oriented environment and emphasizes best practices in patient care.
Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality nursing care to critically ill patients
- Monitor patient conditions and administer medications as prescribed
- Maintain accurate and timely patient records in the EHR (Paragon)
- Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams
- Engage in patient and family education as necessary
Required Experience
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in an ICU setting
Certifications/Licensure
- Current RN License
- ACLS and BLS certification required
