ARMStaffing is looking for a Registered Nurse, Intensive Care Unit (Day Shift) in Kennewick, Washington.

Schedule/Shift

6:30 AM to 6:30 PM, 36 hours per week, with every other weekend required.

Job Description

The position is situated in a 14-bed Medical Intensive Care Unit (ICU) where you will provide care for patients with medical conditions such as sepsis, respiratory issues, and some cardiac and trauma cases. The unit promotes teamwork and accountability to best practices, ensuring a high standard of care.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care for critically ill patients in the ICU.
• Monitor patient vital signs and report changes in condition to the healthcare team.
• Administer medications and therapies as prescribed.
• Utilize the Paragon electronic health record system for documentation.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to create and implement patient care plans.

Required Experience

At least 1 year of nursing experience is required, preferably in an ICU setting.

Certifications/Licensure

• Current RN license in Washington state.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification.
