Job Description
Join our dynamic team in the Emergency Department, where you will deliver high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment. This unit has 19 beds and is equipped to handle a variety of emergencies. You will be using a Philips EMR for documentation and will work alongside motivated staff dedicated to patient safety and effective care.
Responsibilities
- Provide care for patients experiencing emergencies, including tPA, STEMI, CPR, laceration repair, and orthopedic care.
- Administer medications and manage IV therapy.
- Conduct assessments and develop individualized care plans.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Participate in patient education and discharge planning.
Required Experience
- Must have at least 2 years of experience in an Emergency Department.
Certifications/Licensure
- Current certifications in BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIH, and TNCC are required.
