Job Description
The Registered Nurse in the Emergency Department will provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment. This role involves triaging, assessing, and managing patients with a variety of urgent conditions.
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and develop care plans.
- Provide emergency medical care and support to patients.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Document patient care and interactions accurately in the medical record.
- Educate patients and their families regarding health conditions and discharge planning.
Required Experience
At least 2 years of Registered Nurse experience, with prior travel experience required.
Certifications/Licensure
- BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, and Stroke certifications are required.
- Active Registered Nurse license in the state of Texas.
