Job Description

The Alaska Regional Hospital Radiology Department is seeking an MRI Technologist. The unit serves a diverse patient population and is equipped with a GE Signa Artist 1.5T MRI machine. You will provide high-quality imaging to patients, focusing on various procedures such as MSK, neuro, ortho, prostate, breast, MRCP, defecography, anesthesia, and handling pacemakers.

Responsibilities

• Perform MRI exams while ensuring patient safety and comfort.
• Maintain high standards of imaging quality.
• Collaborate with radiologists to ensure appropriate imaging procedures are performed.
• Document procedures accurately in the electronic medical records (EMR) system.

Required Experience

• ARRT and MR certification required.
• Minimum of 3 years of MRI experience preferred.
• Experience in a fast-paced environment with the ability to handle multiple tasks effectively.

Certifications/Licensure

• ARRT certification in MRI is required.
• BLS certification is required.
