ARMStaffing is looking for a Physical Therapist, Pediatrics (Day Shift) in Anchorage, Alaska.

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule/Shift

Day Shift: 4x10 or 5x8. Some weekends required - approximately 1-2 weekend shifts per month.

Job Description

The Physical Therapist will work within a Magnet Facility, Level II Trauma Center, providing care to a Pediatric population in both inpatient and outpatient settings. Experience with pediatric conditions is essential. The therapist will utilize Epic for documentation and engage in interdisciplinary support while implementing individualized treatment plans and evaluations.

Responsibilities

• Conduct assessments and evaluations for pediatric patients.
• Develop and implement treatment plans based on individualized needs.
• Engage in early intervention programs and discharge planning.
• Educate patients and families on care plans and goals.
• Document patient progress and outcomes using the Epic system.
• Ensure safety and injury prevention during all activities.

Required Experience

• Minimum of 1 year of pediatric experience.
• Core skills in adaptive equipment, gait training, and developmental assessments.

Certifications/Licensure

• Current BLS certification.
• Active Physical Therapist license for Alaska (pending licenses accepted; must be valid by start date).
