Job Description

The Physical Therapist Manager oversees a hospital-based inpatient and outpatient physical therapy clinic, demonstrating a commitment to excellence in patient care, employee focus, and community satisfaction. The role involves collaboration with medical staff to support interdisciplinary functions and the development of department staff.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care including skilled physical therapy evaluations and treatment plan establishment.
• Manage clinic operations to ensure financial viability, optimizing revenue streams and managing expenses.
• Coordinate orthopedic specialty field clinics and prioritize referrals.
• Promote adherence to compliance with corporate, state, and federal guidelines.
• Balance administrative tasks with daily clinic demands.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum Education: Bachelor's Degree or higher in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
• Minimum Experience: Four (4) years of active, full-time patient care experience; managerial experience preferred.
• Licensure: Must be licensed in good standing in Alaska as a Physical Therapist.

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.
