Day shift available as 4x10 hours (07:00 - 17:00) or 5x8 hours. Some weekends required - approximately 1-2 weekend shifts per month.

Job Description

We are seeking a Pediatric Inpatient/Outpatient Physical Therapist who will provide therapy services to our pediatric population in both inpatient and outpatient settings. The ideal candidate will have experience working with children, including those with developmental delays and various medical conditions.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and treat pediatric patients in an acute hospital setting.
• Develop individualized treatment plans based on patient assessments.
• Utilize therapeutic techniques and adaptive equipment to facilitate patient recovery.
• Educate patients and families on treatment plans and safety precautions.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.

Required Experience

• 1 year of experience in pediatric physical therapy is required.
• Experience in both inpatient and outpatient settings is preferred.

Certifications / Licensure

• Current BLS certification is required.
• Valid Alaska Physical Therapy License is required; pending licenses accepted.
