Schedule/Shift

3x12 Days from 0700 to 1930, with floating required to other units as needed. Weekend coverage is every other weekend, but may vary based on the unit's needs.

Job Description

The Registered Nurse will provide high-quality nursing care to adult patients in a Medical-Surgical/Telemetry setting. The role involves administering medications, monitoring patient conditions, and collaborating with an interdisciplinary team to deliver effective patient care. The unit will utilize the EPIC documentation system, and proficiency with this system is required.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and assess patient conditions continuously.
• Administer medications and manage intravenous therapy.
• Document patient care activities and changes in condition using EPIC.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to provide comprehensive care.
• Float to other units as required while ensuring care competencies are met.

Required Experience

Must have at least 1 year of experience in a Medical-Surgical/Telemetry unit.

Certifications/Licensure

• Current South Carolina RN license.
• BLS certification.
• ACLS certification.
• NIHSS certification.
