ARMStaffing is looking for a Registered Nurse, Medical-Surgical (Night Shift) in Petersburg, West Virginia.

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule/Shift

12-hour shifts from 7 PM to 7 AM, with alternating weekends and holidays as scheduled.

Job Description

This position is on a Medical-Surgical unit with 18 beds. The unit primarily sees patients with common diagnoses such as COPD, CHF, total joint replacements, hysterectomies, and general postoperative cases. Registered Nurses will receive support from telemetry or monitor techs on the unit, and charge nurses will be available on every shift. RNs will not be required to titrate any drips.

Responsibilities

• Provide care to patients with medical-surgical conditions.
• Collaborate with a team of healthcare professionals to ensure positive patient outcomes.
• Utilize tele and monitor equipment as needed for patient care.
• Document patient care activities in the MEDITECH system.

Required Experience

Must have at least 1 year of experience as a Registered Nurse. Travel experience is preferred, and training will be provided for travelers on unfamiliar procedures.

Certifications/Licensure

• Current BLS certification required.
