ARMStaffing is looking for a Registered Nurse, Medical-Surgical/Telemetry (Night Shift) in Maryville, Tennessee.

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule/Shift

3x12 Hour Night Shift, 1900 - 0730, floating to other like units may be required based on need. Weekend coverage every other weekend may change based on need.

Job Description

The position involves caring for patients with higher oxygen demands, dialysis patients, atrial fibrillation, and those recovering from heart catheterization. This unit serves as a step down from ICU and handles telemetry. Nurses will work with drips including heparin, cardizem, amiodarone, and sotolol initiation. Experience with EPIC for documentation is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to patients on telemetry.
• Manage patients with higher oxygen demands and those requiring hemodialysis.
• Administer medications as per protocols and monitor patient responses.
• Assist in special procedures as needed and transition patients from ICU.
• Coordinate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient care.
• Perform necessary documentation in EPIC.

Required Experience

Minimum of 1 year experience in a similar role with prior charge experience preferred.

Certifications/Licensure

• Active Tennessee RN License
• ACLS Certification
• BLS Certification
• NIHSS Certification
