Registered Nurse - Night Shift

Schedule

This is a 13-week contract position with night shifts scheduled from 18:45 to 07:15. Weekend coverage is required every other weekend, depending on needs.

Job Description

The Registered Nurse will provide high-quality patient care, float to various units as required based on skill set, and support interdisciplinary teams. The nurse will manage medication through the Omnicell system and ensure compliance with clinical protocols.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications and monitor patient vitals
• Manage ports, central lines, and PICC lines
• Provide care and management for feeding tubes and ostomy patients
• Utilize EPIC electronic medical records for documentation
• Participate in multidisciplinary teams and patient care planning

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Must hold an active TN RN license or multistate nurse license
• At least 1 year of nursing experience is required
• EPIC experience for a minimum of 1 year is required
• Current certifications: ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS
• Previous charge experience is preferred
• Travelers must have teaching and community hospital experience
