Job Description

The Registered Nurse in the Medical-Surgical ICU will provide critical care to patients in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities include managing complex patient cases, collaborating with interdisciplinary teams, and utilizing Epic for patient documentation.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications and treatments as ordered.
• Monitor and assess patient conditions continuously.
• Manage care for patients experiencing acute and chronic health issues.
• Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Participate in patient and family education regarding health conditions and post-discharge plans.

Required Experience

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in an ICU setting preferred.
• Travel experience preferred.
• Charge experience is preferred.

Certifications/Licensure

• Current RN license (State or Compact license must be in hand at time of submittal).
• ACLS and BLS certifications required.
• NIHSS and PALS certifications preferred.
