This position offers a day shift schedule of 3x12 hours (07:00 - 19:00).

Job Description

The Registered Nurse will be responsible for providing high-quality care to patients in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) and Intermediate Care Unit (IMC) within a Long-Term Acute Care Hospital (LTACH). The nurse will manage patient flow with a focus on maintaining patient safety and comfort, ensuring accurate documentation, and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams for optimal patient outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care and monitor patient conditions.
• Implement effective care plans and treatment regimens.
• Perform patient assessments and document findings accurately.
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Educate patients and families regarding care plans and health management.
• Respond to emergencies and provide immediate care as required.

Required Experience

• A minimum of 2 years of nursing experience.
• Experience in ICU and IMC level care.

Certifications/Licensure

• Current and valid Registered Nurse license.
• ACLS and BLS certifications are required.
