Job Description

The selected candidate will work in RRT-NICU, PICU, and CVICU, providing care to pediatric patients. The role may also require floating to various NICU facilities including Shaker Children's Rehab, Fairview NICU, Akron NICU, and Hillcrest NICU. A strong background in high-level care, specifically in PEDS, PICU, and NICU settings, is necessary.

Responsibilities

• Provide respiratory care to critically ill pediatric patients.
• Administer appropriate therapies and treatments as prescribed.
• Monitor and assess patients’ respiratory status.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to optimize patient outcomes.
• Document all care and interventions accurately in the charting system.

Required Experience

Minimum of one year of experience in RRT, with significant experience in NICU, PICU, and PEDS required.

Certifications/Licensure

• Current Ohio RRT license in hand.
• NBRC certification.
• BLS certification.
• Advanced NRP and PALS certifications.
