Day shift: 7 AM - 5 PM. On-call requirements will be discussed with the manager.

Job Description

The CVOR Tech will assist in the surgical setting, primarily focusing on circulating open heart cases. The role requires collaboration with the surgical team to provide excellent patient care during procedures.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and organize the operating room for surgical procedures.
• Circulate during open heart surgery cases, ensuring the safety and comfort of patients.
• Collaborate with surgeons, nurses, and other staff to provide optimal patient outcomes.
• Maintain a sterile environment and follow protocols for infection control.
• Assist in the positioning of patients and the application of necessary drapes and instruments.

Required Experience

• A minimum of 12 months of permanent experience in the CVOR specialty is required.
• Experience circulating open heart cases is preferred.

Certifications/Licensure

• Current AHA BLS certification is required.
• Must hold a permanent Ohio or compact license at the time of submission.
