Job Description

This position is for a Respiratory Therapist in the Pediatric Emergency Department. The unit features 15 beds and is equipped with pediatric respiratory equipment. The healthcare system utilizes Meditech for electronic medical records, providing a comprehensive approach to patient care.

Responsibilities

• Perform bronchiolitic scoring and manage respiratory conditions.
• Assist in cases of respiratory arrest with appropriate interventions.
• Provide noninvasive and invasive ventilation support to pediatric patients.

Required Experience

• Experience in Pediatric Critical Care is required.
• PALS certification is required.

Certifications/Licensure

• Active Respiratory Therapist license.
• PALS certification is required; Critical Care Pediatric certification is preferred.
