ARMStaffing is looking for a Registered Nurse, Emergency Room (Night Shift) in Olympia, Washington.

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule/Shift

Shifts consist of 3x12 hour shifts during the night, with weekend coverage required every other week.

Job Description

This position is within the Emergency Department at a Level 1 Stroke and Cardiac Center, handling an average of 170 patients daily of all ages. The ER Nurse will provide critical care and manage a diverse patient population, utilizing Epic for documentation and maintaining high-quality care standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide emergency care to patients of all ages.
• Utilize Epic for patient charting and documentation.
• Manage patients requiring extensive nursing care, including those with multisystem organ dysfunction.
• Perform triage and assess patient needs quickly and accurately.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including rapid response teams and social services.
• Follow isolation precautions and utilize PPE as necessary.

Required Experience

• At least 1 year of experience in an emergency room setting.
• Experience with Epic electronic health records.

Certifications/Licensure

• Current ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, PALS, and TNCC certifications required.
• Must hold a valid compact RN license.
