ARMStaffing is looking for a Registered Nurse, Emergency Department (Night Shift) in Spokane, Washington.

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule/Shift

This position requires working every other weekend with a patient ratio of 1 RN to 4 patients.

Shifts available:

• Day Shift: 3x12 hours (07:00 - 19:00)
• Night Shift: 3x12 hours (19:00 - 07:00)

Job Description

The Registered Nurse will work in a high-acuity adult Emergency Department, serving a typical patient population of individuals aged 18 and older, as well as trauma patients aged 15 and up. This regional referral center caters to trauma, cardiac, and stroke cases, regularly experiencing at least 50 ambulance arrivals per day.

Clinicians will also be required to work in ED holding and should be proficient in various emergency care procedures and patient management techniques.

Responsibilities

• Provide emergency care to patients in a fast-paced environment.
• Monitor and manage patient conditions, including continuous IV sedation and ICP monitoring.
• Interpret dysrhythmias and manage trauma cases.
• Coordinate with interdisciplinary support teams including IV, physical therapy, respiratory services, and rapid response teams.
• Document patient information accurately in the patient charting system, preferably Epic.

Required Experience

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in an Emergency Department or similar setting.
• Previous charge nurse experience preferred.

Certifications/Licensure

• Current RN license (Compact license must be in hand at submission).
• ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, and TNCC certifications required.
